With the recession biting, holidays abroad are becoming more expensive with the price of the pound against other currencies not being favourable. 2009 is seeing a record rise in the amount of people taking caravan holidays to beat the credit crunch. With bargains available for the whole family, caravan holidays are a great way to get away from it all and take a break by the sea. But given the rush to book caravans, the sooner you can get your booking in the better.
But where to go? Well, two of the more popular areas are Essex and Kent. Both offer a great mixture of holiday attractions, from bustling cities to sweeping tracts of countryside and breathtaking beaches. Popular locations for caravan parks in Essex include Clacton-on-Sea and Southminster. Around the county there are a number of popular visitor attractions, such as Adventure Island Southend and Colchester Zoo, both guaranteed to delight visitors.
There are lots of caravan parks in Kent too, where favourite resorts include the Isle Of Sheppey and Dymchurch. Popular visitor attractions in Kent include Canterbury Cathedral and Dover Castle. The area offers a diversity of places for visitors. Which ever location you choose, both areas will provide hours of great British seaside holiday fun. So forget going overseas, see what the UK has to offer!
